Welcome! Thank you so much for selecting me as your Style Steward. I am so excited to assist you with your styling needs and look forward to working with you! Before we meet, I wanted to provide an outline of what to expect and include a few guidelines. Let’s jump right in!


Consultation:

We will start your package with a virtual consultation via Zoom. During our call, I will discuss your questionnaire with you and ask a few additional questions to get to know you better. From there, I’d love if you could give me a virtual tour of your closet and wardrobe space. Finally, we will schedule our first styling session.

Actions requested post consult:

  • Share availability so we can schedule your next session!

  • Provide your Pinterest username. This will allow me to share mood boards with you so we can identify your style prior to our next meeting!

  • If you’re unable to provide a virtual tour of your space, please provide pictures of your closet and wardrobe space.

Identify your Style:

  • We’ll identify your style by using Pinterest!

  • I will create a board based on your responses from the questionnaire and virtual consultation. This will be a collection of ideas based on your style icons and brands you like. I will ask for your feedback and will ask questions like what do you love? What do you not like?

  • From there, I will create a mood board to include everything you love! Once complete, I will get your approval on the mood board and then provide a recommended shopping list or begin personal shopping

Shopping Suggestions:

  • I will create a suggested shopping list with links to help you shop with ease from the comfort of your home! Items will be selected based on your approved mood board.

Depending on the package you purchased, our next session could be one of the following:

Closet Cleanse:

  • In order to successfully clean out your closet, the following items will need to be completed prior to my arrival:

  • Please ensure all clothing items are washed, folded or hanging. 

  • If you have any clothes in the cleaners, please arrange pickup before your closet cleanse. You may leave those items on wire hangers if you like.

Things to keep in mind: I will not sort through any personal items or papers. Also, I will make suggestions on organizers, bins, and shelving. No need to purchase anything beforehand.

  • First, I’ll go through your closet and pull any items that I think you should purge, sell, or revamp. I’ll create three areas to place the following items:

    • Donate – I am happy to suggest local charities

    • Sell – we will discuss all resale options (online, in store, consignment etc.)

    • Tailor – I can recommend a tailor if needed

  • We will review these items together and I will ask questions to make sure we’re in agreement before moving forward

  • Next, I will merchandise the items left and organize by category

  • Jeans, Pants, Tops, Dresses, Skirts, Shoes, Jackets, Coats, etc.

  • Then I will sort each section by color

    • This helps us identify any gaps in your wardrobe

    • I’ll create a recommended shopping list while organizing

    • I will create looks for work and weekend with the items in your closet

    • During your try on session, we will discuss the fit of each item and talk through any questions you may have

    • Last but certainly not least, I will provide a suggested shopping list
